The Legal Informatics and Forensic Science Institute of Hallym University successfully participated in the 4th Korea Police World Expo 2023, held from October 18th to 21st at the Songdo ConvensiA in Incheon, where it conducted a successful demonstration of its ongoing project. Since 2021, the Institute has been serving as the lead research and development institution for the "Technology Development Project for the Advancement of Scientific Criminal Investigation", a national initiative under the Korean National Police Agency. As part of this, the Institute is actively developing its "Deep Case" project, an advanced AI-based system designed to support criminal investigations. The Legal Informatics and Forensic Science Institute of Hallym University is primarily operated by graduate students pursuing master's and doctorate degrees, and it also welcomes the participation of undergraduate students with a keen interest in the field.
